PostcodeLens is operated by AEDatum Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Registered address and ICO registration number available on request pending formal registration. Contact: privacy@postcodelens.co.uk
2. Data we collect
- Analytics: anonymised page views via Google Analytics 4 and Grafana Faro (performance monitoring). No personally identifiable information is collected. IP addresses are anonymised before processing.
- Feedback: optional email address if you submit a data correction report.
- Affiliate clicks: session ID only — no personal data linked to click records.
- Admin accounts: email address (Google or GitHub OAuth) for staff accessing the admin panel.

4. Who we share data with
- Google (GA4): anonymised analytics. Data transferred to the US under the UK–US Data Bridge (UK equivalent of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). Google is certified under this framework.
- Cloudflare: hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection.
- Grafana Labs: performance monitoring (Faro SDK; data stays within our self-hosted Grafana instance where possible).
- Affiliate partners: click referral IDs only — no personal data transferred.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
